Il Canto delle Sirene – Houses for Rent near Amalfi Location:
This beautiful villa lies in Amalfi Coast.
More precisely it lies in Conca dei Marini, one of the most wonderful and colourful towns along the Amalfi Coast, also rich in history and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The extraordinary architectural complex of the Church of Santa Maria di Grado and the Santa Rosa Convent that dominates the town is famous all over the world for the exquisite pastries baked by its Dominican nuns: the Sfogliatella Santa Rosa.
Every season brings its own festivities, from the Easter celebrations, to the feast of the sfogliatella, to the summer concerts in August and also the procession for the Madonna della Neve which is held on the sea.
The town is coloured with hibiscus and bougainvillea all along its winding roads that curve round the hillside, with its ancient noble buildings that overlook the amazing cobalt blue sea.
Over the Capo di Conca promontory you can find the ancient 6th century lookout tower called Torre Saracena or The White Tower and further along you come to the Grotta Smeraldo with its famous emerald waters.
Furthermore Il Canto delle Sirene is an excellent starting point for excursions round the Amalfi Coast.

You can access the villa via the SS163 which connects Amalfi to Positano.
From the road there is a small stone staircase taking you up, through the garden, to the terrace and the villa.
The Siren’s Song is located on the first floor of an ancient, restructured manor house set in a luxurious corner of the Amalfi Coast with a gentle slope down to the sea.
The attention to detail both inside and also outside the house and the use of precious and rare materials for its decoration give this residence the most refined elegance and beauty.
Also the softness and shining white and blue of the furniture for the bedrooms, the large windows with an internal system for light regulation, the ancient columns and the details of the magnificent terrace.
Furthermore the intense blue of the sea, the yellow of the lemons and the Mediterranean gorse, the coral red of the sunset.

It is so beautiful, modernized and comfortable. Gianluca was very accommodating and lovely. We could not be happier with our choice of Il Canto delle Sirene.
