The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.
Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air-conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant. Enjoyed our stay. Food in the resort was not great, I tried the boneless wings and there was. The bed in the room was horrible. Everyone was very friendly and everything was pretty clean. Would stay again but maybe try a different room with a newer mattress.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and close to the beach. The pool area was well maintained and we enjoyed using it. Our main problem was the second bedroom. Let’s be honest, it is a utility closet with a very uncomfortable bunk bed jammed into it. The washer and dryer are housed here, along with the smallest of closets. I realize that the closet technically allows this room to be called a bedroom, but this minuscule closet was filled with cleaning supplies and was unusable. Because there is no room for a dresser, I had to live out of my suitcase for the length of the stay, which I had to store in the bathroom. There are also no windows, which made it feel incredibly claustrophobic. I fully realize there is nothing you can do about this, and I’m not asking for an apology, but I guess a more accurate description and better photos would have been appreciated. I also realize that this condo is titled a 2 bedroom Jr. bedroom suite, but maybe a more appropriate title would be a 2 bedroom toddler suite to better reflect the size of the bedroom. However, the management company was very responsive when we had a maintenance issue, and as long as we weren’t in that room, everything was fine. I would wholeheartedly recommend this unit for parties of 2.
