About this apartment rental

(Free wifi throughout the house)
The building has 6 apartments.
Our apartment is a 55 m2 attic on the second and last floor. 2 rooms (6 adults + 1 child): one room has a kingsize bed, the other room has a single bed + a bunk bed, bathroom with shower, living room-kitchen with 2 single sofa beds + two balconies.
From the living room balcony you can enjoy an indescribable view of Cortina, Tofane and all its other mountains: sunrise and sunset shows are priceless!
For hygiene reasons, we generally leave folded sheets and towels on the beds, so you can choose which one you want to use. If you prefer the beds to be made, please let us know. Thank you.

+ lower floor (-1): a bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Maximum 6 adults + 1 child.

To go skiing you need a car.

Under the house there is a huge covered and closed garage. One car can be parked in the parking spaces, a second car must be parked in our closed garage, please.

You can also freely use the external parking area.

The garden can be used from the ventilation grills of the garages onwards, in fact, the portion of the garden all around the house is for the exclusive use of the ground floor flats.

No security deposit is required, but any loss of keys will cost you EUR 150 per pair.

Pets allowed with a supplement of EUR 100 per pet.

1 camping cot for babies is available with double change of linen: EUR 40.

The house is at ten minute walk (1.3km), downhill, from the town centre, following the signs for the shortcut I provide (20 uphill).

Ca' de' Nani is very romantic and quiet, the view is dreamlike from the two terraces, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. With good weather forecasts, it is certainly worth the small sacrifice of setting an early alarm clock to witness the unforgettable spectacle of sunrise over the Tofane.

The house is fully organized for 7 people, but is also perfect for two.
It has always been much loved, the furnishings are home style and include some things that are important memories for us, I hope they don't simply seem old to you.

Completely in the middle of the woods with 8000 m2 of greenery, it is often visited by fawns.

Absolutely ideal in every season, in fact, without moving the car, you can take various walks and, in winter, in 5 minutes by car, you can reach the Faloria cable car station.

Very quiet and safe.

You will be asked to send photos of your identity document (not driving license), including children and infants, to comply with current regulations.
Tourist tax EUR 2.50 per day for 5 days for each guest aged 12 and over.

Near the house there is the "portal of the god Silvanus" from which, legend says, dwarfs and good spirits came into the world. The first house they encountered was ours; they liked it so much that they stayed there forever... and they called it Ca' de' Nani!!

There are no words sweet enough to express feelings and sensations associated with this house. Originally a beautiful children's colony (hence the name :) ), very special, commissioned by the famous professor Teo Fasulo to educate children through sport and nature, it has continued to emanate an unparalleled magic over the years and still today.
Totally surrounded by larches, my mother called it "The magic circle" !
It is also beautiful in autumn, when everything around turns golden!

Falling in love is guaranteed!!

Ca' de' nani has no equal!
A dream panorama for very romantic evenings!
The fireplace is temporarily out of order, we apologize.
***
In winter, chains on board are always recommended, even with snow tires.
***
In the event of heavy snowfall, the use of the fireplace (when functioning) is not recommended as the smoke exit hole from the flue may not be completely free, with the risk of dangerous returns of harmful smoke.

Great stay away from town. Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Camilla was great with communication before and during our stay. Check-in instructions were very detailed. House was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. We were 2 couples and had plenty of room. Would love to visit again.

We loved staying at Camilla's apartment above Cortini. It was nice to be away from the hussle and bussle of town, yet about a 20 minute walk away. We had a beautiful view from the balcony and appreciate the parking garage and elevator. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable and clean. We would recommend to others. Thank you Camilla!

We enjoyed our stay at Camilla's loft. It was on the top floor with views of the green grounds and mountains surrounding it. Two bedrooms, one with a large bed and small deck, and the other with three single beds. The home was bright and breezy when the windows were open. It's a bit far to walk into town, although we did once, but just a short drive. It's perfect to be so close, but not living in a busy town. Nice to be close to drive to all the mountain hikes too. Camilla gives you all the directions and instructions for anything you need to use inside the place, with clear communication. Inside parking near the door was nice too! It was a wonderful, quiet getaway after our hikes each day!

Lovely property, gorgeous setting and views, and charmingly decorated. Seemed like a lot of work and pre-emptive information for a family that was just staying for three nights. Not the most convenient place to stay with the particulars of the apartment - main part of the apartment is in the attic, while the second part is in the basement. A lot of keys to deal with and things to be aware of. None of this is the fault of the owner, but just the reality of the layout and particulars of the property. Would be a good place to stay for someone who was staying long-term and had time to figure everything out.

It was a nice and clean appartment with a gorgeous view into Cortina d‘Ampezzo. The host was friendly and even gave us the number of a private cook. Parking in the garage was very comfortable. We would love to visit again!

Camilla's place in Cortina was EPIC. We had the good fortune to be in the OFF-season (late November!) - which meant that the massive and summer and winter crowds were gone. Camilla's place is exactly as it seems. First, it's gorgeous. Most of the world would say it's weird to have an apartment building WAY up a hill above a small town. But in Cortina it just makes sense. We arrived in the middle of the night, as planned, and used Camilla's incredible documentation (video! pictures!) as our guide to get in. HUGE indoor parking garage. Glorious elevator that goes right to the cutest little Tyrollean flat you've ever seen, It frames the mountains in front of you gorgeously. The place itself is small but very comfortable for a family of four (two parents, two kids in their early 20's). But the LOCATION is the whole thing. You can hike out your back door, and get WAY up into the Dolomites. The tram goes by your flat, but not so close that people will be peering in., And the mountains. They are simply stunning. We stayed two nights, and wish we'd had two more. Truly, a great place. Thank you, Camilla, for everything. We had an amazing time.
