About this house rental
Kyhl’s Beach is situated 17 km from Simrishamn and 6 km from Skillinge. It’s 12 km to Kåseberga and 30 km to Ystad. To Copenhagen it’s 90 minutes drive. The holiday home is 230 m2, built in 2007 and fully equipped for your comfort. Situated only 150 m from the beach in a 1100m2 conservation area. Whilst you can’t see the beach from the house, you’ll enjoy the calm and the rolling sound of the sea. The nearest shops are in the fishing village of Skillinge, 5 km to the grocery shop and the bank, 4 km to the riding school. Three golf clubs and the Ystad tennis stadium with its badminton and volleyball courts are only 25 km away. You’ll be provided with a satellite TV, a stereo with CD player, a washing machine, a tumble drier and water-powered central heating. Light, friendly décor with light coloured furniture in the Scandinavian style. We have been organizing the Kyhl Beach project since 1973, so we know how to please you.

The house is as described. It offers plenty of space for several families. The garden is wonderful for barbecuing, playing games and relaxing. The sauna was full of bugs and spiders, which we couldn't use. The whirlpool was broken, so it only worked with water temperatures over 40 degrees, which was too hot and we didn't use it often. Unfortunately, you couldn't turn it off and the electricity costs were very high. At the end of the week we paid almost 300 euros for electricity. We thought that was a real shame. It is in very good condition and very close to the beautiful sandy beach.

Stayed at Strandpärlan for two weeks with my daughter from Canada and my son from the USA and their families. 6 grandkids aged 8-13 years.
The house is a few hundred meters from a beautiful beach with a stretch only accessible for residents in the peaceful neighborhood. Within short drives you have access to all the amenities that Österlen has to offer. 3 minutes away is a bakery and the grocery store in Borrby had everything you need. They beautifully catered a family get together. The kitchen is greatly equipped for a large family that likes to cook at home.
The house was superbly equipped to keep the kids occupied both outdoors and indoors. The season did not make it tempting to use the sauna but the hot tub was popular.
I had searched long and hard for a good place to introduce my grandkids to Sweden where I grew up and this house and place was perfect for us.

We were there with our four children's families, together 17 people (0 to 60+). The house worked well for so many people and there were lots of toys outside and inside for the kids.
What lowers the rating was that the garbage bins were full when we arrived on Saturday and were not emptied until the following Friday. It was a horrible stench and a lot of flies. Furthermore, there was a charge for electricity, which was not informed at the time of booking. Feels a little greedy. Had blackouts in the kitchen because of an RCD tripped, and the distribution box was in a locked room, we had access to, which led to a lot of trouble and a very late dinner before it could be solved.
