Family friendly, centrally located home with a pool!

Pool house was the perfect get away retreat for the family. Slept 3 adults and 5 young adult teenage boys comfortably while being in town for family graduation and wedding. We had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out with the family at the pool. Pool is really big and indoors just a short walk from the back porch. Owners are super accommodating and prompt during check in and throughout the stay! Would definitely recommend!

Definitely made memories

The hosts were great and very quick in their response to anything we needed. Unfortunately the last few days we were without an oven to no fault of anyone. The igniter in the oven went out and the owner couldn’t get a replacement until after the holiday weekend. They did offer us to use the oven in the apartment they is attached to the house which was very nice of them. We ended up not needing it as they had an air fryer that worked out perfectly. The whole family loved the pool. We spent most evenings out at the pool. It was still a bit too cold to enjoy the very nice outside deck but we did have a moose wonder into the backyard one afternoon which the kids thought was super cool. I would say the biggest down fall for me was the water pressure in the shower. Once I got use to it, it wasn’t a problem. The large bathtub in the master bathroom was wonderful for a soak after our long days. Plus there is no lack of hot water. We would definitely stay again. Great hosts and with 8 of us there was plenty of room for everyone to have a comfortable place to sleep. The bunk room was perfect for the kids hangout. Especially with the beds all being full sized.

I'm sorry to say that our experience was not the same as most of the high reviews this place has gotten. To start, we never received any check in info from the host prior to check in time. After multiple attempts to contact through all of the avenues available on Vrbo, we finally contacted Vrbo and were about to cancel when he finally responded about 2 hours after check in time. Not super fun to have that stress. He did apologize and explain that he was out of cell service, but every other place we've stayed have sent us scheduled automated messages with check in info the day before. The next disappointment was the cleanliness of the place. At least one bed had not had the sheets changed, the floors were not cleaned well, and the sink and counters in the kitchen were still dirty. There wasn't any info on the wifi either so I had to reach out again to ask for that with no response for over an hour. We did enjoy using the pool so that made the stay worth it for us. Again, based on all of the other reviews, this must have been an off day for this property, just a bummer that it happened.
