About this villa rental
At the heart of the Vosges du Nord National Park, discover a splendid House, which can comfortably accommodate up to 50 people, on three levels.
For family reunions, celebrating an event, for groups of walkers, small or large holidays with friends, Maison AVIV will welcome you for an unforgettable stay.
15 bedrooms spread over three levels. Plus a fitness room.
The first and second level bedrooms all have private baths and toilets, and on the third level the toilets and bathrooms are shared upstairs.
A beautiful indoor pool heated all year round at 29 °, with a pool for children.
New cinema room for up to 50 people.
Corporate space for meetings with videoprojector.
Outside the green areas and a tennis court and basketball will allow you a perfect relaxation.
Two Barbecues and a Wood Pizza Oven will brighten up your meals.
Around the house enjoy many walks, on foot or by bike, and even by boat without a license. The Tourist Office is 500 meters from the house and will guide you to find one of the many activities that will suit you. Bikes are for rent at the tourist office.
On horseback between Lorraine and Alsace, Diemeringen is ideally located, with a SNCF train station linking with Strasbourg and Sarreguemines at all hours of the day.
The house is located at the entrance of the village and enjoys the quiet, but at the same time the proximity with all the village shops and restaurants.
The landscape is gentle, ideal for hiking or biking.
The villa is rented for autonomous management. No meals served on site, but excellent restaurants nearby.

We had a really nice stay at the Maison Aviv. We were 37 people. There were enough beds and kitchenware for everyone. The house is very spacious, although we spent a lot of time outside because of the nice weather. Please keep in mind, that some rooms are better maintained than others and may need repairs. But all in all, there is enough to do for everyone, tennis, swimming, BBQ or play Billard. So it is a good option to host large groups with different interests. The communication before and at the Villa was very good. Thank you again.

One thing is for sure: Maison Aviv is one of the best locations I could imagine for spending time with a large group, be it family or friends. We stayed 1 week over new year’s eve with 6 families / 21 people. Especially the kids (aged from 3 to 10) had so much fun in this spacious building. There are so many rooms distributed over a total of 5 floors that playing hide and seek never got boring. And also the adults found enough entertainment with billiards, ping-pong, kicker and air hockey. We never used the TV at all in 7 days, although the flat screen TV ist huge and brand new. Even though it was winter we also used the tennis court for badminton and basketball, and only a few feet away there is a small river and lake. One of the highlights, however, is the newly built pool with a swimmer and non-swimmer area.
The house itself has some patina but is very well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is designed to feed a big group, and there are various options for arranging the dining area. The bedrooms are colorful but cozy, and the mattresses and bathrooms are fine, too. I didn’t count the number of toilets, but there must be over 15 or some distributed throughout the house, so nobody has to wait.
From the house you can walk to the city center (either along the river or the street) where you find a decent range of different stores, bakeries etc. The Super-U supermarket is also walking distance and carries a wide range of products. We did trips the Berg, La Petit Pierre and Bitche, all interesting places to visit. There are many hikes around the corner, and I bet in summer this is a great place for biking as well.
All in all we had a wonderful time in Diemeringen, and I would like to thank the proprietor as well as the administrator for the house for taking great care of their guests. I certainly recommend Mason Aviv to potential travelers to the northern part of the Vosges.
