About this villa rental
Villa Capucine is a beautiful villa with 3 Bedrooms (T4) and 2 bathrooms villa located on 11 Rue des Corsaires in the Richelieu area of Cap d'Agde. It is an entire house on two floors.
The villa has 3 proper bedrooms: Two bedrooms upstairs: one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. A third bedroom with a double bed is on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom. There is a little step down into the downstairs bedroom and ensuite.
All of the bedrooms have proper beds.
The villa is less than 200 metres to Plage Richelieu Centre. There is a private secluded terrace fully enclosed with a fence, wall and locking gate. The residence is secure with a remote control gate.
It is a stunning villa in an idyllic location.

The villa is extremely well equipped and furnished throughout. Many compliments and repeat bookings from previous guests. This villa is a rare find in Cap d'Agde.
Contents of villa: There is a washing machine, dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, full size cooker with gas rings and electric oven and grill. A plentiful supply of crockery, cooking utensils, cutlery and glassware.
The villa is very nicely furnished with furniture of the highest quality.
Portable air conditioning unit and fans (New unit and fans for Summer 2017)
Electric heating and Fuel heater for out-of-season times.
All beds are normal beds. No folding beds in this villa. Sheets and towels will be left in the villa for guests arriving and are included in the price.
End of stay cleaning, and WIFI is included in the price.
Taxe de sejour (Tourist Tax) is extra. It is 1.65€ per person per night. It is collected by Abritel/Homeaway in February.
Outdoor table and chairs and barbecue.
Very well located near all amenities. Shops such as a bakery, spar supermarket, butchers, newsagent and cash point can be found within 5 minutes walk.
The beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the villa.
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor with a beautiful iron frame double bed with matching beside tables and a good sized wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 is located upstairs and has one double bed, beside tables and matching dressing table and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3 is located upstairs and consists of 2 single beds and a dressing table and beside table and wardrobe.
Sleeps up to 6 people very comfortably.
Bathrooms: There is one bathroom (en suite) attached to bedroom 1 on the ground floor with shower unit, wash basin and toilet

The villa is ideally located, only 5-6 minutes walk down a pedestrian pathway to the broad sandy beach and a small shopping area with an excellent boulangerie, well-stocked minimarket, and a shop offering newspapers (only French) and beach items. In this area, there are also several small restaurant/cafes.and an ice cream parlour.
At the villa, there is a pleasant patio with retractable awning, important because it is, gloriously, in the sun most of the day. There are loungers for subathers,
The villa has three bedrooms, two light and airy upstairs -- one with a double bed and the other with two singles. There is also an excellent shower and a toilet. The downstairs bedroom, off the main room/kitchenette, has a comfortable double bed with a pleasant adjoining shower room/toilet. We were a little fazed by the fact that, unlike the upstairs rooms, the only natural light in this bedroom comes from a small skylight in the ceiling. But then one does not spend much time in the bedroom during the day! There is an excellent fan for ventilation.
A slightly strange feature is that the villa's very efficient washing machine is against the wall in the lower bedroom, but on a summer holiday this is no inconvenience.
In the kitchen/sitting area there is a good fridge and an excellent small dishwasher, as well as an oven and a wall-mounted television, which functioned perfectly throughout our stay.
All in all, a very good quality/price balance for a 5-6 family group.

Good stay. But for those hot days difficult to sleep without airco, fan is not working really. Missing in the whole house mats to clean feets before go to bed. The door in the downstairs room from the toilet is not closing without locking the door. On the last day there was no hot water. Also the communication with the home owners was not fast enough, sometimes I had to wait for several hours for an reaction. But overall the stay was nice. Nice location.

Very helpful owners, only an email away for any general questions, and even volunteered to pop round to help out if we had any problems. It was a shame previous guests had failed to water the flowers for them, as we could imagine the fence top flower baskets must have looked amazing at the start of the season. Lovely little courtyard for breakfast. All the facilities we could have asked for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I have been holidaying in this wonderful Villa for quite a few years staying for four weeks at a time. We are in our mid 60's and drive down from Roscoff. Its location cannot be bettered being just 5 minutes walk from a great beach, excellent and secure parking facilities right outside the Villa in a fenced Domain. Local shops are within easy walking distance and the fantastic Lidl just 7 minutes steady drive away. The Villa is a gentle 20 minute stroll to the main hub of Centre Port with its distinctive shops, restaurants and bars overlooking a most beautiful Marina. Also within the same walking distance is the quieter Mall de Rochelonge 50 yards from the sea and a lovely place to eat and drink and purchase holiday essentials.
The Villa itself is, to us, just like being at home. Everything we need for a four week holiday is there and is good working order. Over the years we have been staying at Cappucine regular upgrades by the Owners keep the Villa looking charming. There is ample space in all the rooms, we sleep very well, and the cooking facilities are very good. There are sufficient pots, pans and dining utensils for all occasions. The terrace is our favourite place and if you fancy a change from the beach it is ideal. From breakfast to late evening we often dine outside, sunbath, listen to music and are totally relaxed. Often, just to cool down, we can just pop inside for a cup of tea (French translation :- glass of wine). Reading a book or playing games in this tranquil space makes your worries take a back seat. We will be visiting again this June when we will meet up with friends we have made in recent holidays. You will not find a better Home from Home anywhere in this locality. For the adventurous and active you can take your pick from the vast array of opportunities that are available.
One word regarding the owners. You will be hard pressed to find such a genuine and caring couple who sincerely care about your holiday, understand how important it is to your family. Should anything go wrong the matter will be professionally addressed in an expedient manner. We shall write a further review following our June holiday when my only worries will be our" girth" and that great things always have to come to an end. As an aside last June the sun shone all day everyday and the thermometer was always above 38 (and up to 42) but don't worry the electric awning at the Villa provides excellent shade.
