Villa Amaryllis is the ultimate booking option for couples, families and friends

We are a family of five with a 12 year old and 8 year old twins. We’ve stayed at many villas in central Corfu, since we visit every year to see my parents who retired here. This villa was one of the best overall experiences we’ve had. It’s spacious and well equipped. The pool is a good size with a gradual gradient up to 1.8m and was clean. We loved the outdoor eating area which was well shaded by the olive tree with far reaching views across to the north of the island. Our stay was made all the better due to Spyros, our host, who needs a special mention. He was friendly, professional and flexible when it came to accommodating our requests. He really the made the difference to making this a great stay. Thanks Spyros! We’ve got every intention of staying here again next year.

Lovely, large house, over 3 floors. Clean and tidy, very comfortable. Kitchen equipment a bit lacking but adequate. Fantastic outdoor space, pool, fig and olive trees on a large, very private plot. WiFi acceptable but not amazing. Pool towels provided. Quite rural, very little in the local area although supermarket very close by. Meant it was very peaceful which was lovely. Spiros was a great, knowledgeable host, thanks.

We just had a week at Villa Amaryllis, and we are already talking about returning next year. The villa is about 15 minutes from the airport, just off the main road. A taxi will cost you about 30 euros. The bus stops on the main road at the entrance to the villa road. There is a small Proton supermarket within walking distance and several others a short drive away. I would recommend hiring a car. Beaches to the east and west are approx a 30-minute drive. The views are amazing. Although there are a few other villas nearby, you are not overlooked and the outside areas are completely private. It's on 3 levels. The lower ground floor really is more like a self-contained flat. All rooms have outside terrace areas. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. It's very clean. Towels and bedding were changed once during our week stay. It really is the outside space that makes this villa. The pool is great with a sun trap and loungers at the back. There is a barbecue and outside dining area under an olive tree near the pool, and another table with chairs on a terrace next to the living room. Downstairs is a ping-pong table and covered terrace area. Spyros is a great host. There is a welcome basket with some provisions. He provided us with recommendations of places to eat and areas to visit. Plugins for the mosquitos are provided and the local supermarkets/ chemists sell sprays etc. You will need them! Corfu itself is amazing. We will definitely return.
