While the house was beautiful it lacked cleanliness. Not sure if perhaps the cleaning company is just not doing their job properly but the bathrooms were dirty. As in one of the shower heads, well the water wasn’t coming out, we cleaned it with some vinegar and it was fine. Finger prints all over the glass doors and the bed sheets did not smell washed.
The beds are very uncomfortable, four of us chose to sleep on the sofas rather than the bedrooms. The pull out sofa was broken which I did inform the owner. The other issue we had was the refrigerator was not cooling or making ice. We ended up buying lots of ice to keep our food cool. I did mention this to the owner to which he replied, “check if ice is stuck” which it wasn’t. And then he said “give it some time”. Well a day passed and still the same issue. We plugged a toaster in and a griddle plate and the fuse went in the kitchen. They do have a coffee machine but it’s pretty outdated. Would’ve definitely preferred a nice keurig. The pool is nice but you need to drive to it. It’s not within walking distance. And once the sun goes down you can’t go on the patio or you’ll be attacked by an enormous amount of bugs. The grill is old and needs to be updated as well. It was only cooking towards the front of the grill. Kitchen was well stocked with many needed items, but the tea pot is rusted in the inside so don’t use it. It’s a beautiful home, but would definitely benefit from many updates.
