Lavender Lodge, sleeps up to 6 people, with uninterrupted views of open countryside where you can watch the horses in the neighbouring field and enjoy incredible sunsets. The spacious lounge/dining area has 2 sets of patio doors opening on to a large terrace. It has comfortable leather sofas, a large wood burner and 40” flat screen TV with Freesat with UK channels and terrestrial French TV. Wi-Fi included There is a selection of books and DVDs and toys at the gîte which you are welcome to use. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, range cooker, microwave, and large fridge/freezer. Separate utility room for washing machine and dryer. The bathroom has a corner bath, double sinks and a separate shower. Our lovely gîtes are situated in quiet countryside near vineyards and sunflower fields between the villages of Etaules & Les Mathes. Five mins to the seaside resort of La Palmyre and a choice of miles of sandy beaches linedby pine forests and cycle tracks. Each gite is furnished to a high standard with fully equipped kitchen and separate utility room. The lounges have leather furniture with patio doors opening on to a terrace and private garden. Satellite TV/DVD/CD. The gardens are all safe and enclosed with loungers, patio furniture & BBQ. There is ample parking.

Excellent cottage. Nicely decorated, spacious, practical, comfortable. The cottage has everything you could need and we could happily have stayed much longer.
Our young girls loved playing in the large garden and it was nice to sit back on the veranda and watch the sunset in the evening, the place has lovely views and is great for bird watching. The children's toys were a hit too.
Local shops and bakery are about 10 minutes cycle. Several beautiful beaches nearby and lots of good places to visit though you need a bike or car.
The attached 1 bed annex would be good if you are travelling with another couple. No one was there when we were though so it was quite private.
Would definitely recommend this place.

Really good sized property, comfortable lounge and diner with large tv. Bonus of UK channels, Bedrooms well proportioned and plenty of games for children.The property was well maintained with new looking shutters on the exterior.
Large bathroom with shower, although the toilet is located seperately.
Would recommend to others and will book again.

We have really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable well-equipped house. The large windwos are a real asset – watching kites, hoopoes, kestrel, black redstarts….and the ever changing evening skies. Being able to cycle straight from the house is a bonus. This area has such a diverse range of landscapes to explore within a few miles of the house. We certainly hope to return!

We stayed at Les Lavandes in June/July 2011.The property is well appointed,well laid out and immaculately clean.Comfy beds and sofas in the lounge.Well equipped down to the last detail.
Really well placed for the beaches and lots of history for the culture vultures.The area is a favorite of ours.We have visited many,many times.So many local, good restaurants.Especially the 3 ducks at Arvert.(5 mins away).The house has a big lawned area ideal for barbeques and the odd game of football for the children.
We would definitely stay again.Good value for money.
