Semi-detached house on a beautiful holiday park in Panormo 20 minutes from Rethimon, 45 minutes from the Heraklion airport. One bedroom with two singe beds. Living room with a good sofa bed for two adults. An open kitchen, modern bathroom own terrace with pergola and sea view. Three common pools and a special pool for small children (16” deep). Kitchen fully equipped with oven, ceramic hop, water cooker, coffee machine for filter coffee. Wifi internet connection. Flat screen TV with satellite receiver (BBC). Sea view from the kitchen and terrace. Sea 300 feet, 3 nice beaches and town on approximately 1000 yards. Pool open all day (April until the end of October) in the pool area you will find sun beds for common use and outside showers.

The apartment matches the description and the photos. It is well set up, with everything you need for your stay. There are 2 AC units, one in each room, with a door that can be closed between them. The patio has shade all day and a nice view of the pool. The pool is well-maintained, and perfect for families, with several depth options. The apartment is a great base to explore the area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town (1km), where there are lots of dining and shopping options.

Stayed in the same complex last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, so decided to revisit in April 2019. We were not able to get the same apartment but were really glad to get number 5. The layout facilities and cleanliness were of a high standard. Everything went fantastically well with absolutely no complaints. Thank you

The owner provided plenty of info before we arrived, and attended to a few issues that arose during the stay. The villa was perfectly positioned next to the pool, with a large terrace to enjoy meals and a bit of sunbathing. It was perfect for us and our 3 year old. The walk into Panormo was good exercise and the center itself has character and nice tavernas. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Villa Aphrodite.

Beautiful apartment on a great complex, everything you need is included. A spotlessly clean, well maintained property within meters of a lovely pool. Located on on a hilltop just 5 mins walk to Panormo village. WE have stayed in this apartment before and will definetly be staying again.

Lovely little one bed villa on a new and very clean complex set about a 10 minute walk from the village of Panormos. Generally very quite, at the time we went always plenty of sunbeds too. Car parking easy. There was a life guard at the pool most days, but the pool although very inviting is freezing!!! If your looking for a laid back holiday or base to explore Crete then this is perfect. We will definitely be booking again.

Villa was reasonably well equipped although it lacked a mirror. There was only one small bathroom mirror but No full length mirror or indeed any other sized mirror. Kitchen well equipped but poorly lit so difficult to cook in evening. These are only minor points. A bidet would have been good but bathroom too small to fit one. Mattresses a bit past their best i.e. Quite worn and not very supportive. Generally location ok, village walkable with a few tavernas and bars. Local panormos beaches fairly dirty and water not the cleanest. If you have a car you can reach really nice places within 45 minutes to the west or 1 hour to the south. If you don't mind travelling then there is a lot to do in the area. Would not recommend without a car. Pool in complex really nice.

We enjoyed a fantastic week here - a very comfortable and chilled out place. A clean, modern villa, ideal for a couple with everything you would need. There is also a large terrace overlooking the pool where we spent much time relaxing. Lots of interesting places to explore in the surrounding area and Panormos itself has supermarkets, a bakery, and good choices for eating out, all just ten minutes walk away. Great service from Frederik - so good to order some shopping as we arrived on a late flight. We have lots of lovely memories - amazing sunsets, the honeysuckle scent from the gardens and the hugely friendly locals. We wished we had booked two weeks....next time!

The apartment is really well-appointed, clean and modern, and had plenty of space for 2 people. It is right on the pool area, which was really nice, beautifully landscaped and kept very clean. It is about 10 minutes easy walk from town, a bit less to the beach. We really liked Panormo town, it has lots of character and plenty of good restaurants and nice shops, and was easy to get to from Heraklion. The rental process was really easy, Frederik was very responsive and provided all the information we could need and more. Overall, a great experience from start to finish.

We have just returned from the most relaxing holiday I think we have ever had. We found the property to be very clean and comfortable, the pool is just a few steps away and is very well maintained, it was also great to have wifi. We took advantage of having some shopping delivered for our arrival which took the stress out of having to dump our bags to then go out for basics, bread, water etc. The property is located within walking distance of some excellent restaurants, the harbour (more restaurants) and the beach, we did have a car but found the walk to and from the amenities very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this property and the village of Panormos especially if you are looking for quiet and chilled.

My husband and I stayed at the house for 5 nights in mid May. The house is located at the far end of a lovely little village, in a small complex of modern houses, in a quiet location near the sea. The apartment was very comfortable, modern, clean and spacious, with a terrace overlooking the large and very attractive pool. Mary, who lives in the village, met us on arrival to show us in, and was available if we had any questions. As it was early in the season there were only a few occupied properties and it was very peaceful. Even though the pool was a little too chilly for me at this time of year, it was really great to sit and have breakfast on the terrace, or relax and read a book, overlooking the pool. A minute walk to the end of the road and you can take a short walk along the cliff path overlooking the sea. It's a short walk into the village (10 mins max), where there are a number of excellent restaurants, and a few shops. This is a perfect location for exploring Rethymnon or travelling inland to the Arkadi Monestary. A lovely drive across the island to Preveli beach takes less than 90 minutes and is well worth the trip. (Be prepared for the 500 zig zag steps down to the little beach). On route you can visit the ancient minoan cemetry of Armenoi.Iraklion is only an hours drive and the musuem is excellent - buy a joint ticket and go on to Knossos from there. If you don't have a car there is a company in the village where you can book day trips to all the main sites such as the Samaria Gorge, Iraklion etc. I would definitely recommend this property.

Just a short walk into the village of Panormos which we got to see gradually coming to life at the beginning of April. Some lovely tavernas close by, especially Barba Andreas! The house is in a lovely quiet spot- walk out the front door in the evening and you can watch the sunset over sea and mountain; walk out the back door and the swimming pool is a mere few feet away! With a rental car, there is quick and easy access to the main road connecting Rethymnon, Irakleio and Chania. It is the perfect location from which to explore this stunning island. Hopefully one day we will return.

The villa was great, had everything we needed, set beside a fab trio of pools, beautifully lit in the evenings! Just a short walk into the village and you are amongst typically Greek buildings, tavernas, shops etc. A truly lovely, unspoilt fishing village with very friendly locals. Strongly recommend Mikas taverna in Main Street (which is blocked off at night), totally authentic Greek dishes prepared during the day, no menus, you are shown what is available in the kitchen! Loved it! Also very reasonable. Would recommend hiring a car, had a great experience with Best Cars in the village, so simple and cheap! There are many beaches along the coast worth exploring, and it doesn't take long to drive across to the south coast through a beautiful gorge. Will def be back!

Booking this apartment was very easy just a quick email to Frederik the owner and he gave me all the information I needed. The apartment itself is excellent, very well equipped with everything you need for your stay and Mary the agent is very helpful. The pictures on the website of the outside do not do it justice as they have now planted geraniums etc all round the pool area and it really is very pretty. Also they keep the pool area immaculate are out every morning hosing it down and cleaning the pool. We were there at the end of May and it was quiet, we sometimes even had the pool to ourselves. It is a nice walk in the evening into Panormo village where there is a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. I will definately be booking this apartment again we had a wonderful holiday.

This was the first time my wife & I have stayed at "Villa Aphrodite" and were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The apartment was spacious for the two of us, and with the patio doors opening on to a private terrace with a small walled garden was ideal. The communal pool area (with a life guard on duty every day) has a Mediterranean feel to it and is fantastic to soak up the summer sun, at dusk the pool area is illuminated and looks great to sit outside and relax with a glass of wine & a beer. The village of Panormos is a 10-15 min stroll for most of your needs and Tavernas (try Fanari's, friendly welcome and good food). we used the beach near Panormo Beach Hotel, nice and sandy and the sea was warmer than the pool. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and would hope to return. Many thanks Frederick.

We spent 2 weeks in lovely Panormos village in this one-bedroom villa. There were hardly any other occupied properties so we had a very peaceful time. The complex is spotless and well-maintained, the pools are lovely - very nice to just sit and watch the swallows swooping past and dipping into the pools! The villa was clean and well-equipped, the beds were a little hard though. All the kitchen equipment was well kept and in working order, air-conditioning units are supplied, too. Great powerful shower in the bathroom. Clean towels and bedding were supplied.Everything was lovely and we'd definitely stay again. Panormos is a lovely wee village, some great restaurants and cafes, I'd be happy to stay there forever.

We had a fantastic week in this property in Panormo. We hired a car to provide us with more flexibility but didn't need to use it much once we had arrived, as the complex and village provided us with everything we needed. We were able to 'switch off' and relax instantly. The property was well equipped and clean. May is a great month to visit Crete as it is not too busy or too hot! We would definitely recommend this villa and the location to others.
