Cabin was cozy. Did not use fireplace. Floor was dirty. House smelled musty. Water not good. Coffee maker and Keurig were nasty and unusable. Thank for God for instant coffee and bottled water. View was across road and block by trees and bush. Deck in poor shape. Windows hard to open and close backdoor would not open. House needs upated and many repairs. Living dining room and bedrooms were cozy. Ugrade and make repairs and would recommend and stay again

A bit off the beaten path so getting there the first time felt challenging. The directions worked though. The place is super quiet, which we loved. Neighbors next door are quiet so that was good. And our cat loved the place. In the pre trip email it stated that we needed to bring our own soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, etc, but everything was provided so that was a nice surprise. A less pleasant surprise was that we had to take our garbage to the dump, and it wasn't until we got to the garbage center that we found out we were supposed to have separated plastics, etc. As pointed out by lots of reviews, the place needs work. All in though we had a good stay. Love Bryson city and look forward to visiting there again soon.

The cabin itself, although in need of some pretty serious repairs, is quiet and peacefully located. Not too far from the action, but far enough to be away. The cleanliness and wore out furniture is however a game changer. The floor was filthy! There were some toenail clipping left on the fireplace hearth that my nephew found when he propped his feet up one it! Can you say GROSS? All of the furniture, couch, two chairs and a coffee table are so uncomfortable and wore out that if placed at a yard sale, they’d be offered for free and still no one would take them. The beds are hard, wore out and make all kinds of noise that I later found out was because they have a cheap plastic pee cover on them. Because of the stoves location beside the kitchen cabinets, all of the pots and pans are nearly inaccessible. You have to reach through the next cabinet over and the way they are all just stuffed in there right beside all the cleaning products and rags under the sink, which are on the floor because the bottom of the cabinet is gone, is down right disgusting. We just opted not to use any cups, plates, pots or pans. We went to Ingles and bought everything we needed. Thank God we also brought our own coffee maker because both of the one’s in the cabin were also disgusting. I guess cleaning a coffee maker isn’t in the job duties of the cleaners. There was even dried coffee that had spilled from someone before us on the counter behind the coffee makers. The place is for sale though.
