About this house rental
Lower Hedge Farm is the ideal country retreat. Situated at the end of a lane down a private track, it offers the opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a rural setting with the modern comforts, style and charm of a house completely renovated for modern living. It has 5 bedrooms, one of which is a long attic room that spaciously accommodates 4 single beds.
The house and grounds were completely renovated and refurbished over six years, restoring original features such as the many wooden beams, inglenook fireplaces, old bread oven and the enormous flagstones. Whilst retaining the original features, we have brought the house up to luxurious modern standards epitomized by the addition of the magnificent sun room with high beamed ceilings, under floor heating and large centrepiece fireplace. Other luxuries include the hot tub, large plasma TV and designer kitchen complete with an oil heated Aga and granite work surfaces. There is also a games room - pool table, table tennis.

We stayed here at the end of April for my sister in laws hen celebration. This house did not disappoint! It was better than we ever expected. The minute we drove down the drive and approached the house we were blown away! It is Surrounded by beautiful quiet country side, Great location. The house was very big and spacious, plenty of room for us 14 ladies. The grounds are gorgeous, bedrooms beautifully decorated and comfy & we loved all the hidden gems and old features that made the house unique. Everybody we have dealt with over email, phone have been incredibly helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Response times were always prompt. Excellent customer service. All in all I won’t hesitate in recommending lower hedge farm in future it was truly memorable & exactly what we needed for our girly weekend. Thank you so much.

The premises were exceptional. Every room was clean and tidy and decorated to a very high standard. Every need was catered for and Paul was especially helpful when showing us around on arrival. I have previously read reviews saying the guests had not wanted to return home and can say in all honesty that this was the first time I had experienced that feeling but share their sentiments whole heartedly.
What a magnificant property and by all accounts the other property is equally superb.
Thank you very much Paul - we will be back!
