Nature and bird watching:
The local area is rich in both bird and animal life, the Cromarty Firth is a haven for migrating wildfowl and waders in the spring and autumn. From April to September Ospreys fish along the foreshore of Nigg Bay adjacent to the cottage. The owners also have a small bird hide at the bottom of their garden that you are free to use when you are staying at the cottage.
