Saltbox cottage is located in a wooded area overlooking Drummer Cove, an ocean inlet. It is a one bedroom cottage with a living room kitchen area, a bathroom and an enclosed dining porch (open to living room/ kitchen).This cottage has original details with an authentic old cape charm. Also has wifi and tv (one, in bedroom). It has a sunny deck with a grill and chairs. The cottage is part of a small community set back from the road. It is a very quiet area. It is a short drive to several local beaches and Wellfleet Center. Parking for two cars on site. Near beautiful bike and walking paths including the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Recently updated bathroom in 2022; new roof in 2023, new floor in 2024. Guest must bring their own linens. (Including sheets and towels) the cottage is not heated or insulated but there is a space heater. No smoking inside. Best for two (or 3) people, there is a futon couch in the living room for an overnight guest or a child.
