About this villa rental
Architect house with 115 m2, surrounded by a garden and a 2.5m / 8m and 1.20m swimming pool. The living room with air conditioning and a salamander has a sofá which is also a bed for 2 people. the saloon also includes the dining room and an American kitchen which open onto a balcony. The house has 1 full wc and 2 suites one with air conditioning and a double bed; the other suite has two single beds.

Beautiful view and great location. The owner is so kind and thoughtful. Some construction was started next to the house and she warned us so well in advance, it was so considerate but it was not a problem at all. We were definitely sad to leave at the end of our stay!

Gorgeous location and views, great amenities and an amazing pool for the July heat. Great location to explore the surrounding areas of Portugal and Spain. Eduarda is a very attentive host.

Although remote, our host Eduarda was very easy to reach and communicated all details timely so we never had doubts about arriving and checking in. Mr. Liquito (local) was there to greet us and show us around and solve any minor inquiries. The house was very clean and comfortable. The induction stove top worked extremely well, when Mr. Liquito returned to show us that we had to hold the on button a couple seconds to turn on! That dumb one is on us! (One minor note; please buy a new non stick frying pan, the existing one is worn out with teflon coming off and not healthy). Every other appliance was excellent for a short term rental. I gave a four star for location (not 5) because it is subjective. We loved the location for its serenity and views but the drive up from town has a few tight turns. There are worse and tighter drives in Porto but be prepared to be cautious in a couple spots. Parking the car in the driveway is a bit of a challenge with a midsize SUV but given that we had a private gated parking space I think most willlagree that was excellent. The back of the house opens wide to view over the small pool and beautiful views of river and Spain. A great place to watch sunsets with a glass of wine. We spent hours over our stay in the evenings enjoying that! The area is quiet and people friendly. Caminha is only a few minutes by car to enjoy the restaurants and shops and plenty of grocery options.

Perfectly positioned, minimalistic but very comfortable house with a stunning view over the river to Spain. Enjoyed exploring local area and restaurants.
