About this villa rental
Relax and unwind in total privacy. Villa Kunang-Kunang (Firefly) is a newly built, spacious, open concept villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both with outdoor showers) built around a beautiful pool and walled garden. Ideally located behind Bintang Supermarket, accessed via a garden pathway, the villa is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud, but just a short taxi ride or 15 minute walk away.
The Villa:
Open-air living room, dining room and kitchen with WiFi, DVD, Bluetooth portable speaker, full kitchen with all amenities, dining table for 4 with 2 additional bar stools.
2 bedrooms with en suites. Both have king size beds, with plush memory foam and 100% cotton sheets and pillows. Air conditioning and ceiling fans in both bedrooms
Pool with lounge chairs, pool towels and outdoor cozy Bale (gazebo) with seating for 6.

This place truly is paradise. The villa is spectacular, located in a beautiful and incredibly peaceful part of Ubud. Location is very convenient, two minutes from a major supermarket and short walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and shops. The local staff is incredibly responsive and helpful. I would gladly have stayed another week, and hope to be back. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Dont be frightened off by the directions! This location is just a few minutes from the insanity of central Ubud, but a world away in terms of grace and design. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Dont miss out on waling the small path that runs behind the villas (parallel to the busy street but tucked up on the hillside) to see some amazing scenery hidden up off the mainstreet. There are even a couple of cool cafes up there.
