Wonderful B&B - Exceptional hospitality

We absolutely loved our stay at the Shamrock. The view is incomparable, a very easy stroll from the ferry, and right by a wonderful playground for the kids, and by the main spot for dinner. Rachel went above and beyond, and we are so hoping to be back soon to stay at the Shamrock again!

Nice B&B but not the Ritz..

Nice B&B but the furniture and toliet/shower area was a bit dated. The light flicked on and off by itself, could do with some manitenance but overall a very pleasant stay. The host was super friendly and the continental breakfast was adequate. Great location.

If I had to find a negative aspect, our room had a little window above the door - light would seep into it from the other room/corridor. I'm sure they'll fix it :)

It was a lovely house with a beautiful view. The owner and her sister were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, close to the village, pier, beach, playground. Beautiful view of the sea. Spacious, clean bedrooms. Great base, great for families.

Really minor gripe, -Breakfast was continental. (All perfectly lovely and fine, would have liked hot breakfast option). - could do with glasses/cups in room for drinking water access late evening/early morning. It was a warm night. All the kids were thirsty overnight, dining RM locked and no tea making facilities in rooms, so no cups etc available. .

Lovely place to stay

Clean, very close to beach and football pitch

Breakfast was ok. It’s a while since I stayed in a b&b. I thought an Irish breakfast would have been a choice given the room price. It was fine - cereal, juice and a selection of supermarket mini croissants and buns, with some bananas and a bunch of grapes. Yea, coffee and toast were made fresh which was good.
