Worst and dirtiest hostel ever

Literally there’s nothing that can be said positive on this place. Even the staff is annoyed to work here.

Probably the dirtiest and so badly maintained hostel I’ve ever been to or I have seen. I don’t understand these good ratings. Sorry to say it but having parties every night is not having good facilities, having a clean and hygienic place, having basics inside the rooms etc. Let’s start from the hygiene: I’ve stayed here 4 days-the toilet on the floor I was located was not cleaned even once. There’s just one full bathroom per floor and calculate there’s at least 14-16 beds per floor in 3/4 rooms. The last floor is “female rooms only”-everyone used the bathroom. There’s always a pond on the floor since the sewage is mostly blocked. Toilet paper lack almost always. On the ground floor toilets I even saw a dead cockroaches. The rooms only have beds and the lockers, there’s no plugs located to be easily reached from top bunk beds and the quality of the mattress is sooooo bad… You would expect at least a spot to hang your wet beach stuff on the balconies. Also, I understand partying but you can’t have rooftop parties until midnight and annoy all the other guests and also the neighbors. Also when there’s rooftop parties than everyone uses the toilet of the female floor so the next morning you just wanna vomit from how dirty this one is. They say there is WiFi but it doesn’t work on any floor except the common area one-like it’s 2025…get a proper wifi network.

Lazy Roo Hostel was the highlight of my stay in Sarandë. Bajo, the owner, is incredibly friendly and considerate, always making sure guests feel at home. The hostel is spotless, has the best location (less than 10 mins to the beach), and offers a delicious free breakfast. The rooftop is offers an amazing view to the city beach and is perfect for sunsets, drinks, and meeting travelers from all over the world. Highly recommended to anyone willing to socialize 🙂

Perfect

"A wonderful stay! The place was very clean and comfortable. It's located very close to the city center, yet in a quiet neighborhood that offers peace and relaxation. The large balconies and the terrace with sea view were absolutely amazing! The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped – perfect even for longer stays. I felt very safe and at ease during my solo trip. I would wholeheartedly recommend it!"

La habitación estaba bastante prolija

No tiene ascensor. Re incomodo si estas con valijas. Es horrible para llegar de noche. Da miedo. El cuarto estaba helado. No andaban los enchufes. El baño y la cocina estaban todos sucios. La ducha estaba rota. El desayuno es una mentira.

Enttäuschend, hätte für denselben Preis lieber eine kleine Ferienwohnung buchen sollen.

Zimmer waren sauber, Betten bequem

Man hatte das Gefühl, keiner hatte wirklich Lust zu arbeiten. Ich musste darum bitten, dass das dreckige Bad (am Tag meiner Anreise) geputzt wird, am nächsten Tag, dass das Klopapier aufgefüllt wird. Die Küche ist dreckig, dass ich keine Lust hatte, darin zu kochen. Das Frühstück kann man vergessen, es gibt nichts herzhaftes, nur Brot Marmelade Nutella und Cornflakes, die nach nichts schmecken. Kein Kaffee und kein Tee.

Todo excelente, sin duda volvería

La limpieza del hostel es excelente. La cocina y la sala de estar son enormes y súper cómodas. El horario de cierre era a las 23h, pero como yo estaba trabajando a distancia, el dueño fue muy amable y dejaba el espacio abierto hasta la madrugada para que pudiera trabajar tranquilo. La vista desde la terraza es simplemente increíble — perfecta para socializar y tomar unas cervezas mientras se ve la ciudad y el mar de fondo.

Toll um Sarsnde zu sehen, ruhig und Alles zu Fuss gut erreichbar.

Tolles Personal sehr geräumige Zimmer und Betten waren komfortabel sowie tolle Rooftop und Balkon zum etwas machen. Das Frühstück war auch akzeptabel.

Die Betten könnten Vorhänge haben da die Sonne sehr schnell ins Zimmer scheint sowie die Rooftop eine Beleuchtung braucht da es sonst recht dunkel war.

Hervorragendes Hostel in Saranda

Der Besitzer ist äußerst freundlich und antwortet sehr schnell auf Nachrichten. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen. Es gibt Balkone mit toller Aussicht auf Saranda und das Meer. Mir hat vor allem der große Aufenthaltsraum und die gut ausgestattete Küche gefallen. Am Morgen gibt es ein gutes Frühstück. Ich würde das Hostel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
