Village house Kate Dubravica

We had a fantastic 11-day stay at Village House Kate! The property was completely sparkling clean and looked exactly as shown in the pictures. It is very spacious—essentially like two fully equipped apartments, one on each floor. We had 3 large bedrooms with huge, comfortable beds, 2 modern bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and a large living room with a big sofa bed. The kitchens had everything we needed and more! One of the highlights of the house is definitely the terrace: - Breathtaking views over the mountains out to the Elaphiti Islands from a peaceful, quiet village setting. - The grill was wonderful addition where we cooked several meals outdoors. - The jacuzzi was an absolute bliss, especially relaxing in it under the starry night sky. The host was wonderful, incredibly helpful, always easy to reach, and gave us great local tips. Because we stayed for 11 days, fresh bed linens and towels were provided midway through. The air conditioning worked great in the Croatian summer heat, and there is ample parking space for multiple cars. Overall, a seamless experience. We fully recommend this property and would love to return! Tip: You definitely need a car staying here since it's located in the mountains. Plan your grocery shopping ahead to save on driving trips back and forth. There is a small supermarket (Studenac Market) about 8–10 minutes away by car, and larger supermarkets with everything you need are located bit more than 30 min away by car.

Nothing negative to point out at all. Everything was wonderful. The only tiny "nice to have" would be adding some dedicated outdoor lighting directed at the grill area for the evening grilling. Since we usually grilled in the evenings after a full day at the beach or sightseeing, it got a bit dark to tell when the food was fully cooked (luckily, we always have headlamps with us and served the purposed).

The property was absolutely fantastic. The hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The house itself was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The views were stunning and really made the whole experience even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Honestly, nothing at all – everything was perfect.

I stayed with my family for only three days, and I deeply regret not staying longer. If you enjoy a rural atmosphere, peace and quiet, and a beautiful sea view, which you can enjoy from the jacuzzi on the terrace, this is the place for you. The house is very large and comfortable, easily accommodating 10 people. It has everything you need. Bring a few things, there's a washing machine, forgot a dryer, and it's there. Want to make toast? There's a toaster, heat up food, and a microwave. The nearest quiet and unspoiled beach is a 12-minute drive away, a shop is 10 minutes away, a bakery is 15 minutes away, and Dubrovnik is a 30-minute drive away. I've been to several different destinations during my vacation, but I consider this place one of the best. The hosts are wonderful people, and I'll definitely be back.
