Le refuge du trappeur liegt idyllisch auf einem Hochplateau, umgeben von Feldern und Kühen. Die Infrastruktur und die Einrichtung des Chalet waren sehr gut, ebenso der Kontakt mit der Eigentümerin. Gute Idee: das kleine Kästchen mit Lebensmitteln oder Süssigkeiten. Vielen Dank für die Konfitüre. Empfehlenswert ist auch das nahegelegene Restaurant "le raimeux" (nur Barzahlung). Die Lage ist ideal mit einem Hund für schöne Wanderungen.
Das wifi war etwas schwach, aber es wurde im Beschrieb darauf hingewiesen.

Superb location, great views. Comfortable, warm and well equipped accomodation. Nice bottle of wine waiting for us. Great communcation from Melanie. WiFi was good. Naturally it was very quiet here. Nice to see the cows twice a day walking past! Saw some wild mountain goats. Did the Gore Virat walk from the chalet, hard work but amazing scenery and views. Didn't try the restaurant as it was nice to cook for ourselves but it has good reviews. Bear in mind they are cash only however.
