Villa Pyla by BaliSuperhost

Beautiful villa! The pool was gorgeous, rooms were immaculate and spacious. The villa is better in real life than the photos. The villa is perfect for a group with plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy being in Bali!

The beds were a little hard for me, I found it hard to sleep. The villa also doesn’t have a maid, so you have to WhatsApp the villa host to organise things like cleaning, which they forgot to do! So we came back from a day out to smelly rubbish and dishes in the sink, however they cleaned it up as soon as I asked them to.

This was my third time staying at a villa managed by BaliSuperhost, and once again it was a great experience. Villa Pyla was no exception. The villa is beautifully designed with a modern minimalist aesthetic that fits perfectly with the Ubud atmosphere. It feels stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, making it a lovely place to relax and unwind. The drive to the villa may seem a little unusual at first, especially if it's your first time in the area, but once you arrive, it is absolutely worth it. The peaceful setting and beautiful design make you forget the journey very quickly.

A few things that could have made the stay even better. The main issue was the shower drainage in all of the bathrooms, which was not functioning properly during our stay. Water would accumulate and needed to be manually drained outside, which was inconvenient. The beds were also a bit hit and miss. The single beds were not particularly comfortable; one made squeaky noises throughout the night, while the other mattress felt quite worn and could benefit from replacement. The villa was generally clean, but there is room for improvement. We noticed some hair in the bedrooms upon arrival, which suggested that the cleaning could have been a little more thorough. Finally, while communication with the villa manager was always polite and professional, I sometimes felt that the focus was more on promoting additional services and packages rather than simply answering the questions I had. Nothing negative or upsetting, but it did stand out during our stay.

Great property — quite new, stylish and beautiful! A place, where you want to stay and enjoy all of it! It even feels like home. Breakfast was very filling and delicious (ordered in advance). The staff was very nice.
