Shepherds Huts at The Cornish Arms

Location and being at The Cornish Arms, although you could not hear any noise from the pub whilst sat outside our hut yet it was only a couple of minutes walk to the pub. When at your hut you felt totally away from everything and in the countryside and the huts and outdoor space have been designed beautifully. The way the slate walls have been curved made it feel very private. We will return 😊

Es wäre schön, wenn ein Besen dagewesen wäre, da man mit sandigen Füßen die Unterkunft betritt.

The property felt perfectly suited for one person anything more and it would start to feel quite small, especially for taller guests. Despite its compact size, it was genuinely lovely and beautifully quiet in the evenings, which made it a really peaceful place to unwind.

The downside for us was that some of the restaurant staff came across as a little unwelcoming, which took away from the otherwise lovely atmosphere. In contrast, the team running the outdoor pizza oven were incredibly friendly and polite. I would also highly recommend being aware that breakfast isn’t served onsite you’ll need to travel to another Rick Stein location, which may not suit everyone. The bathroom could benefit from some attention too, as the shower leaks water across the floor and the sink is extremely small.
