Serene BnB - Apt 04 Makongo after Mlimani City

Facilities and staff are excellent and an exceptionally high standard for Dar - including my experiences at plenty of the big hotels in Tanzania! Great communication at all stages. Beautiful, clean and functional apartment, extra large bed, and very comfortable. The WiFi was great and desk/workspace very helpful for us. Nice kitchenette, well-stocked to make some quick meals on our short stay. Our apartment has a bathtub - a big hit with the kids, who much prefer a bath to a shower, and this is a rare find. The kids also loved the pool and complimentary Netflix. We also love the peaceful location just up the road from Mlimani City as this area is one of our favourite corners of Dar es Salaam - great for our business connections, good restaurants with clean kitchens at Mlimani City and you can get anything you need from Shoppers supermarket. Ample car parking and very secure. Will definitely come back! Asante sana

I'm extra careful about mosquitoes with our little kids and always prefer to let them sleep under a bed net. The apartment is very well sealed, and there are no insects to be found inside all day, but opening and closing the door at night might let one or two opportunist bugs inside! One of my daughters is like a magnet for mosquitoes so I would love to have a bed net as an option.

Serene BnB is an amazing place to stay in Dar es Salaam. The property is very clean, and housekeeping is available upon request. There are several flats on-site, and this one seems to be newer. It has almost everything you might need: air conditioning, fast internet, and an extra-large double bed that we really enjoyed. Even Netflix was included—a great bonus since we were traveling with kids. There is also a pool on-site. A huge plus is the backup generator; we still had electricity even during load shedding. While the location is slightly off the main road, it is easily accessible by car or tuk-tuk. Communication with the host was incredible; they provided clear information for both check-in and check-out and responded very quickly. After our safaris and other trips across Tanzania, we were so happy to find this apartment to rest. We liked it so much that we even booked another unit in the same complex!

One thing to note is that there is no dining table in this unit, but it is otherwise well-equipped.

Clean, comfortable, equipped with all necessary utilities, bathroom with bathtub, shower and sitting wc. Comfortable big bed. The manager very kind and helpful, as same as stuff on the property. Has TV with netflix and youtube with kids Chanel, good wifi.
