Krassi Apartment, Agios Mattheos

The neighbours and owners of the property were perhaps the loveliest hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. They were always keen on helping (lending us an iron, taking out the trash, helping our car down through the streets, etc) and she even greeted us with a plate of cherries and plums as we arrived and brought us a lovely pastry halfway through the trip! They don’t speak English, but we managed easily enough with some gestures and Google translate. The property itself was great- stocked with everything. Good shower. A little warm at this time of year but the fans were good. Would stay again 100%!

The only downside was the parking situation was a little questionable- but we parked in the supermarket parking lot at the entrance of the town and walked up. It worked great! And again, any problems we had, the owners helped us every time.
