Falta de escurreplatos en la cocina así como un cuchillo para cortar y ensaladera o plato hondo. A pesar de ser un apartamento silencioso recomiendo llevar tapones ya que la iglesia cercana suena las campanas cada 15 minutos.

Convenient location to airport, and easy check in.

Gli asciugamani vengono cambiati tutti i giorni e rifanno il letto tutti i giorni. La posizione dell’appartamento è a 10 minuti dalla Valletta. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il Wi-Fi e il giorno dopo hanno sistemato.

Purtroppo ci sono alcune cose da migliorare. La doccia in bagno perde e si allaga tutto il bagno. Non c’è una mensola in bagno dove sistemare gli oggetti personali e sul lavandino non ci stanno perché troppo piccolo. In bagno non c’è neanche una presa elettrica per attaccare il phon, dovete attaccarlo in cucina. La chiesa vicino all’appartamento disturba un pó perché suona spesso anche di notte. In cucina manca uno strofinaccio per asciugare i piatti, inoltre c’era solo una tazza per fare colazione e noi eravamo una coppia.

The apartment itself is decent and has air conditioning, a kettle, a microwave and basic kitchenware. The power sockets, TV, Wi-Fi, keycard access and hot water all worked properly, and we had no complaints about these facilities. We were also allowed into the room before check-in to leave our luggage and use the toilet. The Gejtano bus stop is nearby, making it easy to get to Valletta or other parts of the island. Lidl is a 9-minute walk away, and there is also a smaller shop across the street.

There is a discrepancy between the advertised and actual check-in time. Booking lists check-in as 12:30, but in practice it is only possible after 14:00. Previous reviews mention the same issue, yet the advertised time has not been corrected. The main problem is that it is impossible to get a proper night’s rest. The bells of Hamrun St Gaetan Parish Church ring at night, including at 1, 2 and 4 a.m., sometimes at 15-minute intervals. I find such frequent ringing during the night unreasonable in a residential area. I understand that the owner and management cannot control the church bells. However, the apartment has no effective sound insulation against street and traffic noise. The doors separating the balcony from the sleeping area have been removed and replaced with a curtain, which does nothing to block the noise. The doors between the kitchen and the sleeping area have also been removed. If someone gets up earlier to make tea or use the toilet, everyone else can hear everything, making it difficult to keep sleeping. Bathroom privacy is another concern. The glass toilet door is covered with frosted film, but the silhouette of the person using the toilet is still visible.
