La Chênaie - Suites individuelles dans un domaine d'art contemporain et nature

Un havre de paix dans un parc de trois hectares. Une superbe piscine pour nous rafraîchir dans cet été caniculaire. Un très bon accueil, nous recommandons chaudement.

Malheureusement le petit déjeuner n’est pas proposé dans le tarif car c’est un gîte, mais il y a possibilité pour ceux qui souhaitent d’un commander un la veille avant 17 h. On peut même commander des repas légers ainsi que des boissons toujours an avance. La cuisine est équipée, le studio est décoré avec goût. Merci à Sylvie, la propriétaire pour son accueil.

Rien tout était parfait

It was located near the town of Gien and a wedding we were attending with another couple.

On the booking website site the only availability was for a quadruple room and a deluxe suite. As we were 2 couples we booked both as we did not want to sleep all in the same room. When we arrived the quadruple room turned out to be a cottage with two rooms with a small double bed in each…. The owner didn’t understand why we had booked another suite and was unaware of our reservation … she said her manager whom we could not reach was the only one who could do anything. The cottage was dusty and with cobwebs everywhere. The floors had worn out linoleum that was not sticking in certain places. The following day we asked if the suite was still available and as it was we moved there and our friends remained in the cottage. It turned out the suite had been completely renovated, with a queen size bed. Much more comfortable compared to the “quadruple room”… at the wedding, other people who were also staying there told us that if one could be served breakfast if ordered by 5 pm the previous day. We never received this information and ended up going for breakfast in town both days…
