Such kind and welcoming hosts. The room is essentially in the "basement" of a family's home; but not in a typical way, since the rooms still have large windows and there is enough light and air current that it doesn't even seem like a basement while you're inside, only while entering you take the stairs downwards. Anyway, this means so much stuff is waiting for you there (small reliable kitchen and kitchenware, towels, even some soaps and shampoos, even TV with Chromecast!!), and if there is anything you need, owner Christian is always there to help. He even sent us messages translated to our native language, and let us meet their cutest dog Rosa, who the Villa is named after! (But do not worry, if anyone has a fear of dogs or allergies; Rosa lives with the family upstairs and is not let into the space for guests of course. We just specifically asked to meet her as soon as we found out she exists. :) )
The location, although a bit further from the center, is really close to two bus stops on which lines connect to all other important parts of the city. Also close to Netto, a bakery and a restaurant. And the map is waiting for you inside.
Asked for a bit early check-in and much later check-out (on the last day mind you), and immediately got an "no problem!" answer; even 15:30 was fine, which we truly appreciated, because our flight was in the afternoon and one of us caught a small fever the same day. Cannot be grateful enough! I wish we had more time and felt better at the end so we could at least thank with some gifts, but I hope this review will do. Cheers! :)
Well, it may be helpful for others to know, that the fact that the apartment is in the basement of the house, also affects the privacy aspect. Here and there one could hear footsteps or voices from above, mostly when the doors and windows would be open though. And of course, one then wonders how much noise goes in the other direction (from the basement to the floors above). But that really is the only potential complaint. :)

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana piacevole, Villa Rosa è ben organizzata, letto comodissimo e Christian, l'host, simpatico e disponibile.
La posizione è ben servita dai mezzi pubblici, vicino ad una delle panetterie piú buone di Copenhagen, supermercati vicini. Ottimo rapporto qualitá/prezzo.

De verhuurders zijn erg vriendelijk en de locatie is prima om Kopenhagen te bezoeken. De bushalte is minder dan vijf minuten lopen en door het openbaar vervoer te gebruiken bespaar je in de stad behoorlijk op parkeerkosten, want die zijn gigantisch. De eerste dag mocht onze auto onder de carport.
De eerste indruk van de kamer was niet positief, maar -eerlijk is eerlijk- het went en alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. De slaapkamer zelf was prima in orde. Ook wifi was goed en snel.
De kamer (verschillende vertrekken) is de kelder onder het huis. Muf en rommelig, al staan in het gastenboek louter lovende recensies.
Het was niet vreselijk en onze verwachtingen waren misschien te hoog, maar een goede opruimbeurt (ook buiten) en een deep cleaning zijn geen overbodige luxe. Vooral keukenblok en badkamer moeten grondig worden gereinigd, al adviseren wij een renovatie. Veel kalkaanslag in de douche. Ook bruine aanslag in de toiletpot, al was die op dag twee plots verdwenen.
Bestek, mokken en de wasbak van het keukenblok waren niet schoon: wij hebben bestek, glazen en mokken voor gebruik zelf afgewassen.
Wij hadden meer recensies moeten lezen, want de verhuurders hebben hun wasmachine en wasdroger in deze kelder staan en maken er gebruik van. Dat betekent dat ze binnenkomen als er huurders zijn. Daar zijn ze heel open over, maar het voelt toch raar als iemand plots de trap afkomt om was uit de droger te pakken.
