The cottage was well situated and fully equipped. It was spotlessly clean. Good communication with the owner. Would happily return.

A beautiful and well presented cottage. We were 3 friends making a Xmas get away and there was more than enough room for us.
A little gift of wine, crisps and a bottle of milk in the fridge made for a lovely welcome.
Joanne is a fabulous host. She was quick to respond to our questions before we arrived and gave clear instructions for our arrival as well as suggestions for dog friendly places to eat / drink as well as local walks.

Location. Parking easy, comfortable lounge, good dining area. Kitchen well equipped. Would be a lovely place to stay in the summer, especially if they were playing cricket across the road. Unfortunately we visited for football in Barrow and were accompanied by Storm Amy.
The weather, which put a bit of a downer on our trip. The stairs are steep, not great that the bathroom is downstairs but this is included in the details of the cottage.
