The house had internet and a good quality TV. The boma area was lovely. The beds were comfortable. They also provide a gas firestarter which was really helpful. The animals coming to the house were great.

It was so strange that you have to walk through the bathroom to get into your room. Also, the shower tap is on the outside of the shower, making it really difficult to control the water temp without getting water everywhere. The showers (all 3 of them) did not drain very well. The water severely dammed up in the shower. There is terrible mould and damp spots in the shower - they need a really good clean. The ice machine was filthy - we had to clean it out before use. The fridge seal has a crack in it, so it does not cool properly. The pool has a leak - we kept topping it up to avoid the pump running dry. The pool pump also runs at strange times during the night and is right outside the one bedroom window, so was very noisy. We actually switched it off on the mains board. Overall, for what we paid, it was a letdown. Communication with the hosts was poor. I sent a WhatsApp to which no response was received, asking if there were swimming towels and a place to buy wood. This resulted in me not taking swimming towels as they say all linen provided. However, we got there, there were no swimming towels.
