Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the property to be comfortable and well located. The apartment provided a good base for our visit, and the facilities available met our needs throughout our stay. While there are a few areas that would benefit from additional attention in terms of maintenance and housekeeping, these are issues that can be addressed relatively easily. With some improvements in these areas, the overall guest experience would be even better.

A few areas could benefit from improvement. The main communal entrance door lock appears insecure, as it could be opened without using the correct key, which raises concerns regarding building security. There was also a noticeable odour in the apartment on arrival. While not unpleasant, it was strong enough that we purchased air fresheners to make the apartment more comfortable. In terms of cleanliness, the shower screen required attention, the sofa had a greasy, sticky feel to it, and the Shark vacuum cleaner was completely full and appeared not to have been emptied for some time. These are issues that ideally should have been addressed prior to guest arrival. The wooden bath caddy was heavily worn, with one end showing signs of rot. I placed this in the storage cupboard alongside the vacuum and ironing board. When checking the cupboard containing spare linen and towels, some of the visible sheets appeared to contain numerous small hairs, which meant we chose not to use any of the spare bedding or towels provided. I have video recordings from both arrival and departure documenting the condition of the property should any clarification be required.

Everything you could need was there. A gift of cakes and cookies had been left for us checking in which was a thoughtful touch. The apartment was spotless. Bed was comfortable. A real home away from home .
