Unfortunately the weather was very wet. Luckily the outlook is so lovely that we couldn’t think of a better place to stay indoors and relax. The decor and furnishings are beautiful.
A little breezy inside but that is probably only because the weather was cool and wet, normally this would be a positive.

Beautiful cottage right on a lake
Proximity to owners house although we were not at all disturbed. Expected to be a bit more secluded before we arrived. This dud not turn out to be an issue

This is a unique and beautiful place. The lakeside position is spectacular - flowers and birds everywhere, fish rising in the lake, even a crocodile basking on the opposite shore. The house itself is a gem - so unusual and so comfortable. The rooms are huge! It’s a hidden oasis, but still within walking distance of Mission Beach township.
We didn’t want to leave.
