What a find! Le Petit is a beautifully appointed boutique hotel with an excellent location, friendly and helpful staff (with solid conversational English) and a wonderful roof top with a panoramic view of the city. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom up to the minute with very good hot water. The room is understated in decor celebrating Oaxacan style with contemporary materials. My room had a private patio,I believe only two room do, wow was that nice to come back to. While the one way street Le Petit is located on may feel a little random at first, it is a considerable advantage from a noise level standpoint. There is noise from neighboring restaurants and general city life, but it is far more low key than most. As a first time visitor to Oaxaca I was delighted how easy it was to walk to the Zocalo,and Jalatlaco and other attractions. There is a bodega on the corner for bottled water and snacks, scores of coffee shops and cafes in every direction. I felt very safe in the area and felt comfortable walking home alone at night to the hotel. Highly recommend and would gladly stay at Le Petit again.

Le Petit was good for what we needed at the price. Nice room with a large bathroom and AC, no TV though but that wasn’t big for us. There was a toothbrush behind our sink so did make us question the cleaning but the room itself felt clean. Staff was nice and helpful

Good location and nice staff. However, there is absolutely nothing sound proof about this hotel. Everything was loud. You can hear anything and everything happening from the hallway and street There were also construction on the roof, which began very early in the day and continued throughout the day. It would also be nice to have a tv and fridge in the room.
