I travel extensively throughout France, yet I would never claim to truly know the country. Still, during my stay at the small Gîte Passoud, I had the feeling of being a little closer to the authentic France. The gîte offers clean rooms, comfortable beds, a small balcony, plenty of fresh air, and above all, a remarkable sense of peace and quiet. A simple evening meal, a good glass of wine, and a breakfast that I remember as neither outstanding nor disappointing—simply appropriate and enjoyable—completed my short stay. What I appreciated most was the character of the place. It felt genuine and individual, unlike many of the interchangeable tourist accommodations that can be found directly along the main travel routes. I left with fond memories of a place that has kept its own identity and charm, and that made my journey a little more special.

Op het ogenblik hadden de eigenaars een probleem met de verschillende alarmen van de Gite. redelijk kleinere kamer dan verwacht, smal bed voor ons (zijn we niet echt gewoon)
