Matemwe Attitude - Adults Only

I'm so grateful we had two reservations here, because it means I get to write a second review — and I truly can't recommend Matemwe Attitude enough. This was our honeymoon, and we still can't get over how perfect it was. Every part of the property was a joy: the thoughtful decorations, the beautifully kept gardens, the gorgeous beaches, and every hang-out spot we discovered along the way. The staff looked after us with so much warmth, the food was wonderful, and our room was everything we'd hoped for. It was one of the most relaxing experiences of our lives, and we'll absolutely be back.

We spent six days at Matemwe Attitude for our honeymoon, and it was the best vacation of my life. The staff were absolutely wonderful (special thanks to Antony and Najme, who were very very vey attentive all the time) — warm, attentive, and always there to make us feel special. Our room was beautiful, and the food was delicious from the first day to the last. What we loved most was how much care went into every single detail. The whole stay was wonderfully relaxing, exactly what we needed, and we left feeling completely spoiled. We can't recommend it enough, and we'll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Matemwe Attitude. After our Tanzanian safari, it was the perfect place to relax and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a partial sea view private villa, and it was stunning — exactly what we wanted for our milestone celebration. No expense has been spared in the design of this beautiful hotel. The villas and the grounds are gorgeous. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. The management team was also very present and attentive, making every guest feel seen and valued. The all inclusive option was excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a romantic Zanzibar getaway with personal attention, delicious food, and wonderful activities, Matemwe Attitude is the perfect choice. We’d also highly recommend booking excursions through the hotel — everything was professional, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Without hot water for 3 days. No air conditioning or fan in the bathroom. Slow service. Not value for money.
