Brezza di Mare

The apartment is right on the main pedestrian street. On the bedroom side you have a small balcony overlooking the street - so fun to look down below and watch the town come to life in the morning. On the living room side, another balcony looks over the port - and there are a couple of seats to sit out there for an aperativo and enjoy people watching. So you really are in the centre of the action. There is parking just across the road at the port (free of charge). We usually found a spot but sometimes had a bit of trouble parking - but it was peak season, so normally I'm sure it would be fine. The host (Jole) met us on arrival and was very helpful thoughout our stay whenever we had a query. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. If you want to be right in the centre of town by the restaurants and bars - this is the place for you!

Yes it is noisy in the evenings when the bar next door plays music until quite late (peak season), but with the windows and shutters closed, it does really help and we were fine with it. You do have to be careful not to use too many electrical appliances at once (I think this is pretty standard in Sardinia?) but the host helped us out and we figured it all out and it was fine.

Location was very centrally located which meant we could just role out the door and go to eat and walk around the old town. Parking relatively easy to then go to the gorgeous beaches around the islands. The apartment itself is also really pretty with gorgeous tiled floors and charming details throughout. Checking in was extremely easy and Jole was extremely helpful and lovely to work with.

It is right in the middle of a very busy shopping and dining/drinking part of the old town. As noted above, this is a plus but also comes with a downside. It was extremely convenient but it did mean some noise at night. Because the apartment has old town charm, the windows are single paned and quite noisy with rattling if heavy traffic or music is playing nearby. Also, the only bathroom is off the main bedroom so the apartment is ideal for a couple, otherwise every one is walking through the bedroom from the living room (which doubles as another bedroom).

Extreme overlast van de bar/club Charlie in de straat. Ook het verkeer aan de voorkant zorgt voor ernstige overlast, zodat normaal slapen onmogelijk was. Totdat de ramen geïsoleerd zijn, kan dit appartement eigenlijk niet voor verhuur worden aangeboden.
