Spacious US Capitol 3BR Apartment with Free Parking

Clean and tidy with good facilities

Nothing we didn’t like but we were in DC for a conference so we have nice clothes with us and there were very few clothes hangars or hooks. The beds were pretty small but comfortable. The double beds would have been small for two adults and the rooms would have been tight but the 3 of us that stayed had our own rooms so it was fine.

Location was great for what I needed, close to my son and daughter in law.

I booked this unit for me and my son because it had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and we could stay in the same place. It's a basement apartment. The big issue: The family upstairs has 2 young kids who get up and start running around starting at 4-5AM - and there's no sound insulation. Smaller but annoying: Catch for deadbolt on outer door to alley wasn't installed. Locks on the unit's front door were difficult to operate. Shower barely worked - the water just dripped from the shower head. My son, understandably, chose not to stay in the unit and instead slept on the couch in my other son's apartment. Host seemed nice enough and the unit isn't awful, but it's funky and the stay wasn't pleasant. I wound up paying a lot for what I got.
