Clean and modern hotel in a good location. Plenty of shops, restaurants and public transport near by. City center is within walking distance, and area surrounding hotel felt safe at night.

Everything, spotlessly clean place, situated in a quiet road at the heart of Athens upmarket districts (unlike nice places in the -many- not so nice parts of town). Staff are exceptionally forthcoming with any residents needs, “beyond the call of duty”. As an example, in one of our stays we forgot a (white) clothing item on the white sheets. When we realized we texted the hotel and the manager ensured that the item was kept for us to collect (ironed) next time we were in Athens

We have stayed at Urban K as couple and as couple with adult son and we cannot think of any reason for us to not return

In our latest (two) stays in July we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast: even better than it has always been, delivered at our doorstep within the half hour specified when ordering online the night before

There’s nothing not to like: the place is newly built to modern functional standards, the kitchenette is equipped with all amenities, there is even an iron in the wardrobe (a normal encounter in US hotels, but far from common in Greece). Spotlessly clean as always, functional modern a/c system embedded in the original design (not an afterthought single unit blasting cold air on the bed at night!), even when we do not stay in a room at the top floors facing Lycabetus hill, it’s always great to have breakfast or relax late at night at the balcony
