The Wilson House was amazing! I had 3 friends flying in from 3 different states to attend our 40th high school reunion. The Wilson House turned out to be the perfect place to book for them. Not only was it spotlessly clean, it was beautiful, comfortable, and lots of fun! We played some old records on the stereo and spent hours in the rec room playing games and sharing memories. Having a lockbox to hold the key made it easy for everyone to come and go as needed. The rocking chair on the front porch was a favorite as well! It's a nice quite neighborhood and convenient to get to anywhere you need to go. I'll look forward to booking it again next time family or friends come to town!

My children and I had the honor of being the first guest of this beautiful home. “The Wilson House” was an amazing experience for both my children and I. We stayed for a week in May of 2025. Our home was damaged by a storm and became unlivable. The comfort of this home made my stress feel less as I was able to provide my children with a safe and comfortable place to stay. We were welcomed to a nice tray of fruit, snack bars, cheese and crackers with a beautiful note directed at my family. This nice gesture gave a personal touch to our stay. My fifteen-year-old son and eighteen-year-old daughter were fascinated with this home. They got to experience a one of a lifetime experience. Getting to travel back in time to things prior to their time was fascinating for them. My son explored the entire home ensuring he captured everything to share on his social media. My daughter was fascinated with magazines dated from the 50’s, the lovely matching vanity chair in the bathroom that matched the bathroom color, and the telephone that she had only seen in movies before. Everything about this home was perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped for any of your needs. The fascinating dishwasher and refrigerator seem to have been custom made to fit the theme of the home. Dish detergent, paper towels, clothes detergent, drying sheets, and much more offered to make sure needs were met. The bathroom was nicely equipped with plenty of towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, and hair dryer. Washer and dryer worked perfectly. WIFI connectivity was fast and convenient as my kids could use their personal devices, along with TV while I worked on my computer or work from home and the connection never failed. The location of “The Wilson Home” is great, it allows for quiet and safe afternoon walks or simply enjoying the sunsets while sitting on the front porch while enjoying the nice rocking chairs. The accessibility to just about anything in town. Whether it is shopping at local Walmart, Price Cutter, going to local parks, thrifting, movie theater, or any other local stores. “The Wilson Home” offers an easy and accessible car port that will keep your vehicle from sun damage or any worries of it being parked on the street. “The Wilson Home” will be my place to stay when in the Monett area. Regardless of the stressful circumstances my kids and I were facing, this felt like our home. We have taken a piece of this home in our hearts.
