Refugio Chamahua

L’appartement est propre et la propriétaire est charmante. Elle nous a beaucoup aidé pendant notre séjour. Il y a de l’eau chaude dans la douche et la cuisine est bien équipée.

Jerico est une ville avec beaucoup de dénivelé. L’appartement se trouve assez loin de la place centrale et tout en bas si village. Cela impose soit de marcher 15 min de bonne côte soit d’appeler une moto taxi.

Nos gustó el apartamento, muy limpio, en una zona residencial tranquila. Está muy bien equipado, pero nosotros solo lo usamos para dormir. Quien se quede más tiempo puede hacer uso de la nevera, lavadora, estufa, cafetera, tostador, utensilios, sofá, tv con plataformas de streaming, etc. Liliana, la host, fue muy amable de principio a fin. Muy recomendado.

Estaba un poco retirado pero ya eramos conscientes de eso desde antes de alojar así que no hubo problema. En general nos gustó. El baño de la habitación principal no tiene calentador pero nos bañamos en el principal que si lo tiene.

Quiet residential location about 15 minutes walk from the town square. Host, Liliana, was extremely responsive and helpful. Washing machine was a bonus as we desperately needed to do laundry. Comfortable beds. Spacious and light filled.

We initially had problems with getting a hot shower. The trick, we learned, is to just barely turn on the hot water tap. We are regular gas stove users, however we were unable to light the gas cooktop so could not use the stove. In hindsight, we should have asked for a demonstration upon check in. WiFi connectivity is spotty, particularly in the living/ dining area. Not a negative for us, but be aware that the walk into town is a hilly one. And, the apartment is on the 3rd floor accessible by stairs only. Would not recommend this apartment for the mobility challenged. Finally, the apartment was difficult for our tuk-tuk driver to find, and we ended up on foot following our intuition and recall from looking at a previous map. It may be helpful to note that the apartment is in a newer residential complex called Rio Piedra.

Alojamiento limpio, con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia

La anfitriona no fue muy cordial, el alojamiento aunque dice que tiene parqueadero público, se refiere a que es en vía pública, donde se genera controversia con los vecinos e incomodidad. Iban a cambiar una chapa mientras estábamos ahí esto no debería suceder.
