Traveler's Majestic Retreat Hotel, Located in the Heart of Melaka, Walk 10 mins to Melaka's Attraction Site

The room is clean, the bedsheet and quilt were clean and fragrant. No weird smell. The location is strategic near to shops. Walkable to main attractions such as A famosa, jonker walk, stadhyus, muzium samudera, mahkota parade and dataran pahlawan. The parking was public parking.

It’s hard to park during the day. But the parking was vacant during the night. No fridge in the room but there is coway water filter in The common area.

I like how convenient to excess the hotel.

For the price, I think what was provided was more than okay. The room, bathroom and common areas were clean. Towels, iron, hairdryer and body wash are provided. I'm not really sure on the parking because we mainly travelled by ordering Grab or walking to our destination. The air conditioner and water heater functioned well. The beds were comfortable as well. No weird smell or stains on the towels, bed sheets & blankets. There's a water filter outside of the room at the common area. The room was spacious enough for 4 people, we even had ample space to pray. It was suffice for us since we were only staying there for 2 days and 1 night, and most of the time we were outdoors.

Just a heads up that the rooms are not sound-proof so we could hear talking from the other rooms. We were lucky this time to have had neighbouring rooms that weren't noisy. Another possible issue is the check-out time. The hotel doesn't have any policy on late check-outs, there's basically no penalty to late check-out. We were supposed to check-in at 3 pm, but one of the staff who were there told us that the guest before us requested to check out at 2 pm. That leaves a limited amount of time for the staff to clean the room by the time we were supposed to check in. It wasn't a big deal for us this time around because we ended up checking in at 6 pm, so the room was already ready. The TV can only watch YouTube, I tried searching for Netflix and couldn't find it. Maybe it's there, I'm not sure.
