Great location in Copacabana, close to beach and restaurants. Lovely building, helpful 24 hour security, comfy bed, spacious flat with all you need. Host Mohammed couldn’t have been more helpful. Would stay again!

O apartamento fica bem localizado, próximo à bares e restaurantes. Tem portaria 24 horas e é muito seguro. O proprietário é super solicito. Nos autorizou a entrar bem antes do horário. Foi atencioso em todas as demandas.

O apartamento parece ter uma reforma recente mas que deixou a desejar. O chuveiro não é bom, tem uma banheira antiga com manchas. O vaso muito próximo da parede que dificulta o uso por pessoas maiores. Os armários de cozinha muito antigos sem portas. Não conseguimos usar o fogão por um vazamento mas que parece ser um problema pontual. Enfim poderia melhorar.

It's close to the beach, safe, and the concierge staff is friendly. We were allowed to bring our bags in early and leave them in the apartment while they cleaned. The bathroom had been recently renovated, which gave it a clean feel. Overall, it was clean.

The shower pressure was weak, the bathroom itself was old, and despite being painted, it was unpleasant to shower in. There were 4 taps in the shower, but only one with cold water worked. The windows face the street, so there's no sea view. I don't understand why anyone mentions one here. Perhaps the view is in the distance if you lean out of the balcony and look to the left. The kitchen is in very poor condition, making it unpleasant to sit at the bar or in the kitchen. For that price per night, I think they could at least spruce it up a bit. The worst thing was the mosquitoes; there were so many of them that they bit me every night. We also rented an apartment in the building next door and didn't have any problems there. I honestly don't understand the 10-star reviews. Maybe they're there because the owner is nice and helpful, then asks for a good review at the end. But that's unfair; the price doesn't match the quality of the property at all. After being asked to leave a good review, I feel awkward writing an honest one, but I hope it helps someone.
