Buzzard's Nest Glamping Walnut

We received a very warm welcome from our host upon arrival. He took plenty of time to show us around the Roundhouse, explain the surrounding area, and introduce us to the various facilities and communal spaces available on the site. The accommodation itself made a wonderful first impression. With its beautifully planted living roof, nestled in a small clearing and surrounded by trees and shrubs, it blends perfectly into the natural surroundings and feels wonderfully secluded. Inside, the Roundhouse was surprisingly spacious, with a high ceiling that created an open and airy atmosphere. The white walls, wooden-framed windows, and rustic window ledges gave the interior plenty of character and charm. A small dining table positioned by the window, together with a comfortable sofa and side table, made the space feel particularly welcoming. The large double bed, featuring a decorative wooden frame beneath the rooflight, was both attractive and perfectly suited to the room. The composting toilet, complete with a washbasin and hot water, was conveniently accessible directly from the main living area. At dusk, we were already able to spot some wildlife, including rabbits that ventured into the clearing to feed. After a long journey we were rather tired, otherwise we would happily have spent more time looking out for deer and foxes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The combination of a unique and beautifully designed accommodation, genuine hospitality, and a peaceful natural setting made for a memorable experience. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others.

Fabulous place & beautiful surroundings, and a wonderful welcome late at night when we got lost in the dark! Very tranquil & teeming with wildlife. Ideal for adults & children alike. A great glamping experience 5*
