Bright & Stylish en-suite bedroom suitable for singles, couples, and families in a 2bed apartment

Short walk from Chatham Station and in walking distance from the Central Theatre where I attended a show. Lady who shares the flat was pleasant. Bed was clean & comfortable.

Despite being advertised as a 3pm check-in on Sundays it is 4pm. I was only advised of this on the day of check-in so I had to change my train time at my expense. No key safe so you are reliant on the occupant letting you in until you ask for a key. The flat is very hot, even with the windows open & the fan on I felt uncomfortable. Bathroom smelled of drains & there was no shampoo provided, just a quarter of a minature bottle of shower gel, luckily I took my own. The bedroom is crowded with beds, no wardrobe although there is a rail with hangers. Only one bedside table which holds the fan & a lamp so no room for anything else. Room has no lock for the door and no safe. Take earplugs as the main A2 road to London is outside the window so constant traffic noise 24/7. This apartment is advertised as deluxe, I didn't see any evidence of this.

Naast de slaapkamer was er ook een ruime woonkamer en een balkon met 2 fijne stoelen. De keuken was ruim gefaciliteerd, vooral de koelkast en aparte diepvriesladen vonden we erg fijn. We werden vriendelijk welkom geheten. Ruime gratis parkeerplaats direct onder het gebouw. Fijne bedden. Goede douche en fijne föhn Er stond zelfs een kleine tandpasta en een kleine douchefoam klaar van een echt merk. Lekker gegeten in een plaatselijk restaurant en daarna een mooie wandeling gemaakt door het stadje en het fort bezocht.

De straat was best steil.

The woman in the apartment was friendly and the host responded quickly to my messages. Being able to use the main apartment facilities (even though we did not expect it was shared). Parking spot at the apartment. The stay is ok as long as you know and expect you are going to have a room in a shared apartment.

The apartment smelled funny. When booking I was not aware this was a room in a shared apartment. This was an unpleasant surprise. Looking back I do see that the ad only mentions the ensuite bedroom. So the pics of the kitchen and living room should indicate this was shared. The room in which our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in was quite hot, so our first night we did not sleep well. The 2nd night was better.
