Alice Cottage

The property is beautiful and spacious, it has everything a beach house of its type needs: a large yard, jacuzzi, sauna, barbecue. It lacks a pool, without this being a problem at least for us: 6 and 15 minutes away there are two beautiful sand beaches. It is therefore the right place for two families (we were four adults and four children), if you ignore the negative aspects, which, until the last day, seemed absolutely minor and insignificant.

Negative aspects: the property had ants everywhere (on the countertops, in the cabinets); practically the food could only be protected in the refrigerator. Also, there was no hand soap or shampoo in the large bathrooms, the shower gel and toilet paper were insufficient for 8 people and we ran out in the first few days. It was not a problem, even though we had paid for a premium property. One problem arose upon departure, when the owner drew our attention to the fact that we had to remove the sheets and towels and put them in the washing machine, take out the trash and wash the dishes. We did this, but we would still be criticized for forgetting a package and not vacuuming, cleaning the countertops, etc. I understand that these are the rules of any house, this is how we do it back home, except on vacation where you don't go to clean a property for which you paid the price of a 5-star hotel. So, if you don't want to be a maid on your own vacation and still be scolded for it anyway, maybe this property is not for you. Also, house rules should be available before paying the rent price.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus in der Bretagne. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet – es fehlte uns an nichts! Besonders der große Garten war für uns ein Highlight, wir konnten draußen spielen, grillen und die Natur genießen. Die Lage ist ideal, nur wenige Minuten vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt, was den Urlaub noch entspannter gemacht hat. Die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie hat uns mit Tipps versorgt und sich sehr um unser Wohlbefinden gekümmert. Insgesamt ein ganz tolles Haus, das wir jedem empfehlen können. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!
