House in Playa Carrillo-Samara

Magnifique maison très lumineuse car beaucoup d'ouvertures sur la nature, les menuiseries neuves avec moustiquaires partout, le lit confortable, très belle sdb avec douche eau chaude et pression, cuisine équipée, 2 terrasses agréables on se sent comme chez soi dès l arrivée, hôtes adorables qui habitent à côté et très discrets, voiture indispensable, 20 minutes de la belle plage Carillo, nous avons adoré cet endroit calme et en pleine nature!

Anyone looking for an off the beaten path true Costa Rica experience would really enjoy this place! The owner and his family live next door and provided us with a tour of the property, highlighting the verity of plants they grow, including 3 types of coconuts, several types of bananas, vanilla, cacao, sugar cane, wild ginger, turmeric, and several types of fruits. The best part is, we got to sample all the freshly grown products that were in season while we were there. They also offer delicious traditional homemade meals using locally sourced ingredients for a very reasonable price, which I highly recommend! While the house itself is off a remote dirt road, it is only about a 15 minute drive to Playa Carrillo beach, which in our opinion, was one of the best beaches we've been to. There is also an amazing little restaurant, Restaurante El Dorado, off the same dirt road as the house. Note, if going to El Dorado for dinner, be sure to stop in during to day to make sure they will be open that night since the woman who owns the restaurant literally runs the restaurant by herself. Everything about the house and experience far exceeded our expectations! The house itself is very clean and modern while fitting perfectly into the beautiful natural surroundings. If you're looking for a party house or touristy area experience, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and experience the authentic local culture an delicious traditional food, this house is perfect!

Wir durften dieses Paradies 4 Wochen geniessen. Wir würden 11 Punkte geben, wenn es ginge. Es stimmte alles, nichts fehlte. Wir wurden verwöhnt, wir lernten viel über die costa-ricanische Küche. Wir durften Früchte und Wurzeln probieren, Kokosnüsse und Zuckerrohr. Nicht weit entfernt von der Unterkunft ist der sehr schöne Carillo Beach. Wir nutzten den Standort um auch viele Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung zu machen. Vielen Dank an Jaime, Angelina und Gabriel sowie dem sehr aufmerksamen Hund Juno!!

Das es uns nicht möglich war noch länger zu bleiben.

The owner is very helpful and gives wonderful advice's for visits in the region. Always tried to make us feel comfortable and we did! He allowed us to taste the fruits in the great garden too.
