The Beach House! - 1 Mile to Vanderbilt Beach! Southern Exposure, Pool

- The host/management company incredibly responsive. Really happy with that. They were quick to sort minor maintenance and always responded to calls & texts promptly. - Nice pool, decent size (although the water temp was so warm in June that it wasn't much relief from the heat - I think it would be fantastic for a winter getaway). - About as good a location as you can get considering there's nothing available beachfront in this area.

- The A/C just couldn't cope with the heat. By about 10am the house would start to heat up, getting into the 80s by the afternoon. No amount of fiddling with the settings or thermostat made any difference. As soon as the sun went down, it would start to cool down again. It wasn't comfortable, and on this basis alone, I wouldn't recommend it. If they update the system to one that works, my rating would have been so much higher. - Also, there were a few cockroaches. Found a couple in the bedrooms. Another few in the kitchen/living room.
