Been to Cairo many times. Normally stay downtown. This was a different experience due to location. Less frantic city feel and more peaceful village feel (in the context you are in the heart of a city) Location, Safety and security top marks, Quietness in the accommodation day and night. Very comfortable.
The only things that i did not like was that i did not stay here sooner. Outside stairs and floor including ground near the stairs not the (entrance lobby) was dirty trash on stairs very dirty. Thankfully cats around. Owner is going to sort this problem with caretaker. Saying all that best deal in town as this neighborhood is extremely expensive accommodation wise. Location wonderful gave me peace of mind. Will stay here again.
