Even better than pictures, in our opinion. Although just a one-bedroom, had two beds and could comfortably fit 3 additional futons. The futons were great quality for Japan, with extra memory foam layers to create a comfortable bed for the floor. Being in the historical district was a dream. On a Thursday, most businesses opened at 11am so definitely enjoy sleeping in and the comforts of the home before exploring the Bikan area.

Know that living room and bedroom are not fully isolated from each other so if you make sound and have light on in the living room, it is apparent from bedroom. For those who want to stay up late/work/watch TV, and with those who prefer to sleep earlier but are sensitive to noise and light when going to bed, it’s something to consider. Was not a problem for us. There is also daytime activity happening from behind a locked door on the first floor—unsure if it is another rental unit or a workspace. Perhaps clarity on this would ease minds of visitors. We are all female travelers with female tweens, so hyper aware for our safety even in safe Japan!

立地、雰囲気、清潔感、全て良かったです。 駐車スペースが狭いが、美観地区周辺の駐車場が混むので時間のロスがなく非常にいい。

倉敷美観地区へのアクセスがかなり良い。オーナーさんとのやりとりはスムーズでした。

駐車場と宿の入り口がわかりにくいのと、駐車場は道が狭いので小さい車か運転に慣れてる人じゃないと停めれない。場所に関しては事前に詳しい場所を聞いておいたが、それでも迷いました。行ったことのある人しかわからないと思うので、写真や動画などがあるといいなと思います。 給湯器がお湯を溜めて出てくるシステムなのですが、きた時にはお湯が無く、夜も遅くお酒も飲んでいて車は出せなかったので、ほぼ真水でシャワーを浴びました。 清掃は基本的に行き届いていて綺麗ですが、換気扇やお風呂の隙間やベットの間などにはゴミや髪の毛があり少し気になりました。
