Apartman Ladini Lana

The property is very nice, clean, and well located. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and they were always available whenever we needed any help. The apartment is close to Paklenica National Park, which is great for walking, hiking, or running. There are also restaurants and a grocery store nearby (Tommy supermarket, although we found it quite expensive — it may be worth driving to SPAR in Zadar for larger grocery shopping). The seaside is only about a 5-minute walk away, while the centre of Starigrad can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot. One thing we particularly appreciated was the temperature inside the apartment. Even on very hot days, it remained pleasantly cool, and we hardly needed to use the air conditioning.

The apartment is located near the magnificent national park Paklenica, just a few km away (literally, a 5 minute drive), so it is ideally situated to visit the park. The host is very kind (he gave us some fresh figs from his trees) and is on the premises. Also, he speaks German (in some places, the hosts speak only Croatian, which hampers communication, though these can take place through WhatsAppThe apartment is spacious and comfortable (with lots of space, a well-equipped kitchen and air conditioning, and the parking space is large, contrary to the most common situation in Croatia, where these are often small. There is a playground with a trampoline for kids, so my 11-year old daughter had a great time too.

Nothing to report here. This was among the very best experiences we had in Croatia.
